Detailed descriptions of the interfaces between modules of a compiler are illustrated with actual C header files. This book is very interesting. If you're studying this matter it might be good for you - it explains all steps in compiler construction and does not give you too much details on some things that are more difficult so that you can do them your way. The only thing that is not so good is that the writer loses too much time explaining you the Tiger language which is the language you'll be writing a compiler for in this book and sometimes it's hard to keep up. Other than that, excellent book!
