Owner's 8 word inscription to endpaper, no other markings, Near Fine in Very Good (-) dust jacket with fine scuff marks to back panel and two small tears to head of spine of DJ; Dj is in mylar sleeve. Hardcover, 780pp, colour reprodcutions of painting augmented with B&W photos and illustrations. The first part of the book deals with early Dali. The second part examines Dali's lifelong enquiries. It inscludes previously unpublished work, homages to Velasquez or to Michelangelo.
