Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensf�hrung, Management, Organisation, Note: 2,0, Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen (Lehrstuhl f�r Strategische Organisation und Finanzierung), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Populationen" und "Nische", "Resource Partitioning" und "Density Dependence" - Konzepte und Begriffe, die von Hannan und Freeman 1977 von der Biologie auf die Organisationsforschung �bertragen wurden und mit denen die Richtung der Organisations�kologie eng verbunden ist. Diese Forschungsrichtung besch�ftigt sich mit der Gr�ndung, Ver�nderung und dem Sterben von Organisationen - sie �bertr�gt dabei Theorien aus dem biologischen Kontext auf den organisationalen und findet m�gliche Ursachen f�r die oben beschriebenen Vorf�lle. In meiner Arbeit besch�ftige ich mich mit einem dieser "Events", n�mlich dem organisationalen Sterben. Die bisherigen Ans�tze verfolgen eine Vielzahl von Variablen, die einen Einfluss auf diesen Prozess haben - Gr��e, Alter, Dichte der Population, Identit�t oder Blueprint - um nur einige zu nennen. Es l�sst sich jedoch folgern, dass es die eine perfekt Organisationen, die gegen das Sterben gefeit w�re, nicht gibt. Nichtsdestoweniger gibt es m�gliche Strategien, wie man m�glichst lange "vom Ende verschont" bleibt. In einer empirischen Betrachtung m�chte ich eben diese f�r die Population der "Desing your own Tshirt" - Online Shops herausfinden.
