The project �sterreichische Retrospektive Bibliographie (ORBI) lists bibliographical details of about 30,000 works printed in Austria between the 15th and 19th centuries, which have been collected by the �sterreichische Nationalbibliothek. The titles are not only drawn from the holdings of the �sterreichische Nationalbibliothek but also from library catalogues, bibliographies, databases etc. Series 3 of the �sterreichische Retrospektive Bibliographie contains Austrian journals from 1704 to 1945, the first three part volumes of this series are published in the end of 2005. Series 2 has already been published, forming a complete record of almost 7,000 Austrian periodical and non-periodical newspapers from 1492 to 1945 (including details of year of publication, the publisher and printer, editor and details of holdings). Series 1: �sterreichische Drucke (Monographien) 1461-1800 (Austrian printed works (Monographs) 1461-1800) is in preparation.
