VG: Some wear to the edges of the dust jacket. The book is in great condition, with clean pages and tight binding. It looks like it has rarely, if ever, been read. A brown hardcover book. Title is in gilt lettering on a leather plate glued to the spine. A portion of the title is in gilted lettering on the front cover. The dust jacket is illustrated on the front-the rest is a solid gray, with the title printed down the spine in black lettering. The front and back free and pasted end pages are a nice olive green. There is a black headband. There is an attached white silk cloth bookmark. Pages: (17), 18-684, (1). Profusely illustrated with a plethora of black-and-white images. There are also several full page color illustrations. Text is in German.
