Atendiendo s�lo al espacio concreto de la escritura, se constata, en efecto, quedes de tiempos inmemoriales - ya sea constituyendo el asunto principal o bien como hilo conductor, estructura, s�mbolo o fuente de inspiraci�n - este t�pico est� presente en una pluralidad heterog�nea de textos de diferentes culturas. En esta obra colectiva se abordan distintas cuestiones relacionadas con el tema del viaje, su plasmaci�n escrita y su significado, a lo largo de la historia y en distintas �reas geogr�ficas y culturales, desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar (ling��stica, literatura, historia de la ciencia, arte, geograf�a...).
