I read this book in 20 minutes. Each diary entry is short, and each facing page is a line drawing of Eve, naked of course. The drawings are very tame by today's standards, but caused the book to be banned in the early 1900s. I bought the book due to news stories about the library in Charlton MA recently reversing the ban. I enjoyed the book, but it is not by any means one of Mark Twain's best or most substantial works.
