The Outcasts, as they were known, flew low and slow. They were the aerial eyes of the division in search of the enemy. Too often for longevity's sake they found the Viet Cong and the fight was on. These young pilots, who were usually 19 to 22 years old, invented the book as they went along.

excellent book
well written first person account of life in the scout helicopter squadron in Vietnam. Excellent, well worth the read.
