I bought this book as a review course as I have formally studied Hebrew in the past but never felt like I had gained the mastery I desired. I am only six chapters into it, but so far it has been superb. Unlike other methods I have encountered this Hebrew language course follows the principles of modern language study theory. It does not start off with reams and reams of grammar explanation, but rather with short lists of vocabulary and then lots and lots of usage. It is the learn a little and use it a little principle and is patterned after the way we actually learn languages as children, through exposure and use rather than analysis and memorization. I am most eager to work my way through to the end of the book as I am curious how this method will work with some of the more complex aspects of Hebrew. But so far I am enthusiastic about the results. I would definitely recommend it.
