Comedian turned writer
This is quite an old book, but it is in the list of books to read before you die, so I decided to read it.
O'Hanlon is very convincing when writing in the Irish vernacular and accent. The main characters are convincing as well, with their little quarrels and contradictions. There are at least two good laugh-out-loud jokes and a few fair chuckles, however what bring sthis book down is the predictability of the attitudes the characters take.
