Busman's Honeymoon was a delightful story. I enjoy Lord Peter Winsey and now he is married. But what a time to solve a mystery--with a bride waiting to celebrate. Peter is able to do his job and convince his bride that his life is just that, solving murders. There are some humourous spots, love and drama as they discover the dead and work to bring justice to the crime. Bride Harriet is a mystery writer and has her own problems, but does recognize Lord Peter's dedication to solving mystries and the marriage is off to a start.
Thanks to Dorothy L. Sayers, another good read is on my bookshelves, and we are becoming fast friends with each evening that I spend with her books.
I would recommend this and any of her works to anyone who enjoys mystery, and the
British writers like her. Excellent.
