Had to read it for the book group (movie was in town) but found it a "star vehicle" of the quite old-fashioned kind -- my mother loved this kind of play -- without a single sympathetic character save the gay ex-physician.
All the imaginative returning to the constrictions of the post-War period couldn't restore it to life.
