This book by Ellen Hopkins is definately a must read. It's a beautifully written book for teenagers and adults alike. Ellen Hopkins gives you a very realistic insight on what it is like to be a teenage girl, let alone a teenage girl on meth. Based on her daughter, the main character goes through alot of hardships but seems to overcome them all in the end.

CRANK is incredible
I recommend this book to anyone, especially teens. Reading this book really shows you the true ugliness of drug addiction and how drugs can affect ones life. The story is incredibly open and honest and is written beautifully. The writing is short and to the point and easily understood. It is written like poetry and grabs your attention. I could not put this book down!

A Must Read
"Bree" as she calls herself, is a teenager with normal teenage issues. She lives with her mother and step-father and feels misunderstood and ignored. When she decides to go for a visit to see her estranged father, she learns more than she can handle about her father, his lifestyle, drugs, and sex and returns home to her family a different person. Her decent into the world of "Crank ?and her confusion about life, keeps you hooked on the book from beginning to end. Although over 500 pages long, it is written in verse and is a very quick read that leaves you wanting more. A must read!

Awesome Book!!
Ok so at first i wasen't even going to read this book. But everyone was talking about it and all my friends are like you got to read Crank. So i go to the book store and buy it. It was the best book i have ever read. Let me tell you a little about it. This is a story about a girl named Kristen and one summer she goes to see her dad. And at her dad's house she meets a guy named adam and he introduced her to the monster or crank. I don't want to spoil it so i won't tell you what happens at the end. Every teen should pick this book up. You won't be disapointed. Even if you don't like to read you should give this a try.

Almost Entering Your Own Conscience
Being familar with the affects of Meth, reading this book was almost like reading my own thoughts, except with a different setting and occurances. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that can handle such strong emotions. I'm excited to read the sequal to this book Glass, which I just ordered today. :O)
