Nice book
Bought this book for an Irish friend who had the sequels but had loaned the Mammy and never got it back. He loaned me the following books and I enjoyed them so much I had to get this first one for him. It was ok to read out of sequence and just a nice story.

Heartwarming Part of a Trilogy
This book was surprisingly heartwarming! I fell in love with the characters and couldn't wait to read The Granny and The Chisellers. The descriptions of each character were so vivid that you can just picture them and their surroundings. If you like stories of family life, this is a winner!
