The most informative and elegant textbook on Cognitive Psychology available today in English. I have known this work since the 4th (2000) edition, and now, with complete re-formatting and full colour illustrations throughout, it is simply the only textbook on this aspect of neuroscience that anyone should require as a solid introduction to the discipline. Thoroughly comprehensive and balanced, the authors nonetheless are unafraid to evaluate competing hypotheses, however radical. I already look forward to the 7th edition!
