But the company's owner, Carl Trudeau, isn't willing to let justice be done. Instead, he decides to try to purchase a seat on the Court. OK book
Having read all of Mr. Grisham's books and loving MOST of them, this goes into the "OK" stack. For me, it didn't have the don't-want-to-put-it-down element. I did finish it but not in record time. He can do better and surely has.

INTRIGUING
A husband and wife lawyer team risk everything they have to go up against a powerful corporation that has been illegally dumping toxic waste that infiltrated their town?s water supply causing cancer to hundreds of town?s people. Even though this is a novel, John Grisham gives his readers enormous amounts of real life laws and procedures of court room drama and how ?big business? can manipulate the outcome. You will receive great insight as to how our justice system works and a new awareness of our voting rights, with a very thought provoking ending.
