This is a great adventure tale, beautifully written. Definitely one of the greatest books I have ever read, and I have read thousands. I have become a great fan of Sabatini, and I have read many of his books since. It is certainly worth owning, because you can read it many times over.

A beautifully written pirate tale, complete with sea battles, damsels in distress, lover's quarrels and wild schemes. The poetic justice of the ending is rich indeed. I have read this book probably 6 times now, and still hasn't grown old. I recommend this book to anyone looking for adventure.
