mr gardner's story, while facinating and inspiring, relies too much, in my opinion, on his status as a minority.

Disappointing and Deceptive!
This book promotes "New Age" spirituality while masquerading as a motivational self-help book. It is subtly misleading in the spiritual realm while having some good common sense information. Chris Gardner weaves inspiring stories and practical "advice" in an interesting format however he laces it with the presumption that god is relative to what a person wants god to be, and not necessarily who God is.
