He was a full-time studio potter in Asheville, NC (1976-2001), initial director of Odyssey Center for the Ceramic Arts (1994-1995), university professor of art(1999-2015), and now lives and works in Flagler Beach, Florida. His works are included in numerous publications, including Handbuilt Ceramics by Kathy Triplet, and museum collections, including The International Museum of Ceramics, Alfred, New York.
