I decided after 30 years of wear, my paperback version of God Calling needed to be replaced. I can no longer see the cover image, and the pages are all loose, brittle and yellow after almost daily reading. My "new" (actually used) hardback from Alibris is not only beautiful, but as I read it each day, I am always reminded of the beautiful message contained therein.

Ancient wisdom still fresh
I bought this book new back in the 80s even though it was first published in 1945. I gain a lot from the short daily reflections on the Christian life from Jesus' point of view. I began retreading my old copy and bought this one for a friend of mine. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Great Personal Resource
I find this book hits so many pertinent areas of my life in the daily selections. Not intended to be a sit-through read, it does uplift and provides guidance.
