This book is a must read for everyone concerned about our religious freedoms, being the actual transcript of the testimony that A.T.Jones gave before the U.S. Senate Committee on Education and Labor in Dec. 1888 (and it is NOT dull reading!!). At that time there was a movement afoot across the country to pass a national Sunday law, in part, as an attempt to "bring this nation back under God." As Jones lucidly proves, while such a concept seems honorable, it is sure destruction for our First Amendment rights.
