Sheer panic, disbelief, shock, being totally numb as the world spun crazily on its axlea]Unless youave been there and experienced it, thereas no way to accurately describe what feelings and thoughts run through your mind when you hear those words. Eventually, anger sets in: at yourself, those around you, and oftentimes, some even question God. How could HE allow this to happen to them? I never once questioned my faith, because without it, I would have been doomed from the start. My whole life changedait was all because of that six-letter word. My body was invaded by an unwelcome guest. What could I do? Where would I find the strength? Was there help out there to see me through? This is the story of the many different and often difficult choices I had to make, painful, long treatments I had to endure, and the courage, stamina and determination I had to dig down deep to find to make it through.
