"God makes it quite clear in his Word that he has only one answer to every human need--his Son, Jesus Christ. In all his dealings with us he works by taking us out of the way and substituting Christ in our place. The Son of God died instead of us for our forgiveness: he lives instead of us for our deliverance. So we can speak of two substitutions--a Substitute on the Cross who secures our forgiveness and a Substitute within who secures our victory." An early leader in what became China's phenomenal house church movement, Watchman Nee (1903-1972) spent the last 20 years of his life in a communist prison. This powerful meditation brings the daily reality of following Christ into sharp focus. This book changed my life! I have been an ardent disciple of Christ since my boyhood but always felt that the promises of the bible were like the unreachable dangling carrot.
Watchman Nee's study of Romans changed that! It's a powerful book which if read prayerfully and truly imbibed, God can use to powerfully reveal the mysteries of Christ to you.
I have given away over thirty copies because of its impact on my life

Excellent book
For years I've had difficulty with parts of Paul's letter to the Romans. This book explains Romans in language a layman like me can understand. It has positively and permanently impacted my life. I would highly recommend it to everyone and anyone who wants to live a vibrant, victorious Normal Christian Life.
