Homer Hickam is a national treasure. He is a great story teller and author. Homer brings the reader to learn and appreciate the work of coal mining. He does this along the way of telling a love story between two strong people. Great characters and an ending that has to be read quickly. You'll want to know what is going on and won't be able to put the book down. Thanks Homer.
