I love Stephen King's work so Ive been an avid fan for some time. This book was different then his normal book receipe so I super enjoyed this. I also love it when King has characters that go into another "world". His imagination is so good in this way..you can feel where he takes you in his words.
It does take a while to "get into the story" but it is well worth it.

Stream of conscienceness?
The style of writing in this book was just too strange for me. I couldn't 'get connected' to the story.

Brilliant
I have read thousands of books over my 75 years, and I would place this way at the top. Both the subject and the writing are wonderful. My wife who isn't as interested in this subject, read it on my recommendation and also found it to be an excellent read.

Lisey's story a repeat
The best thing to be said about "Lisey's Story" is that it is sincere praise of Stephen King's wife. I can imagine that she merits it. Otherwise it is the same old musings about Stephen & how amazing he is. {To himself.}

great book from king
I loved this book, it doesn't follow the general horror story that most of kings work consists of, it was a beautiful love story, it made me cry, and laugh out loud. It was an extreme emjoyment to read.
