The members of the Swisher family were murdered in their beds with brutal, military precision. The state-of-the-art security was breached, and the killers used night vision equipment to find their way through the cozy, middle-class house. Clearly, Dallas is dealing with pros. It seems the only mistake they made was to overlook the nine-year-old girl cowering in the darkened kitchen. Unabridged on 1 MP3-CD.

I have enjoyed all of the books written by J D Robb and also read the books she writes as Nora Roberts. An exteremly prolific author who does not get repetitive or boring. I really like the fact that you can read any one of her books (as J D Robb) and not have to read them in the order they were written. She tells you just enough about her characters to make you want to go back and read the previous books but you don't have to do that to make sense of the current book.
