Hans Mehl has produced a great book and I am pleased that the translation from the original German is sound. It is rare to see a book with good sized photographs of extent Naval Guns especially when most are on original Naval Carriages. I would highly recommend this book and his other books in the series. The large format Landscape book that opens along the short side is unusual but suits perfectly the format of the book
