I read this book and recommended it to someone who couldn't find a copy. Therefore, I sent her a copy through Alibris. It arrived very quickly and she liked it, too. It has a great main character and appropriate secondary characters. The settings are evocative, and the plot is excellent.

A real gem!
Highly enjoyable read. Combines mystery, suspense, and romance set in England and Italy. Kick is a very smart character and you are drawn into the book from the start. Lots of twists and turns that are unexpected.
