Although he enjoys being at the center of the action, he is ill-equipped to cope with Washington bureaucracy, and all of his academic knowledge is not enough to prevent him from mishandling a dangerous situation with global implications. THE POWER GAME is the fiction debut of a former member of the State and Defense departments during the Clinton administration, respected for his nonfiction writings about foreign policy and diplomacy. Nye was the former dean of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and also was Chairman of the National Intelligence Council. While a prolific non-fiction author, this work is the author's first novel.
