Has Cussler ever written a "bad" book? If so, I have not read it. I find each one that I read, very difficult to put down once I have started it. I have all but 1 of his Dirk Pitt novels and have enjoyed each one. Dirk would give James Bond a run for his money.

Not a bad book. If you want to read more of Clive Cussler books its important to start from the beginning. Moves fast, some what predictable but enjoyable. A US "James Bond" if you will. Im on Raise the Titanic right now and it was good back ground on Dirk Pitt. You wont be disapointed if you read more of the Dirk Pitt saga.
