artistic encouragement
This book is not solely for the visual arts, but anything artistic: music, writing, dancing, or even the enjoyment of these things. It is written by an author who has helped herself as an artist, and then began to help others with creativity block.
She has the reader take account of their life and its many influences and adds discernment to areas that cause guilt, shame, and apathy; that are keeping the artist hindered in pursuit of goals and self fulfillment.
I think anyone who is struggling in their life can benefit from this book. It is an encouragement for people to practically pursue their hopes, while finding the good things already in their life.
