Decided that now I have 15 years of Ceramics under my belt, I should really learn all I can about RAKU. This is probably the most informative book researched so far. The title is off putting as it sounds technical and boring, but far from it. It is a joy and covers pretty much everything regarding decorative application as well as the technical stuff and how to do it in safety. Beautifully illustrated - all my questions answered. The text is simple and very easy to understand. The only fault I found is that I wish it had a translation index for UK readers, to transcribe various ingredients in recipes etc. It would have avoided many trips to the PC.
