heartwarming cat book
This won't be a fancy review, let me just say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have read several other Willie Morris books and just never guessed that HE of all cat haters could become a cat lover!! I went to high school in Yazoo City, loved My Dog Skip - book and movie - recently made a pilgrimage back there for my 40th high school reunion. It was delightful to see Willie's actual home on Grand Avenue and to think about Skip and Spit and Willie playing in that yard and in that neighborhood.
Read this book if you love cats or if you love books about the Deep South.
