The history of the Ethiopians is so awesome that anything that I could ever remember about any other portion of history on a major scale, pales by comparison. These folk were operating on an empirical level, starting approximately, 10,000 years before Menes. In other words it was like this?..they had control/command over their region, other p... eoples region, the high seas, visitations overseas and hired themselves out for other folks armies.
When they came to occupy any other area, they brought high intellect, agricultural and spiritual expertise, metallurgy and literary arts skill, engineering and architectural know how, government and organizational smarts and all this while doing brisk business trading and holding a peaceful civilization down back home.
So wide was their dominion that their feats and deeds were placed in literature (Aladdin, Sinbad the Sailor, Arabian Nights, Antar the Lion, The Siege of Troy), placed in fairy tails (Pegasus the flying horse, The Golden Fleece), prehistoric Cushite kings (Hercules, Saturn, Zeus, Nimrod, Apollo) worshipped as deities and heroes much later by others culture.
There is also evidence that this group were the descendants of those long lost sunken continental Atlantans which would stand to reason why they knew of or built flying machines, robotics, had a working knowledge of electricity and subterranean living.
