And then there's 17-year-old Gwynnie Packwood, an unmarried mother who lives with her uncle and aunt until she can pull herself up on her own two feet. Gwynnie finds a part-time job while she takes computer courses at night. Heaven help her that she's taken to the new computer instructor, Justin Bailey, causing all kinds of rumors to break loose. When a body turns up in an abandoned shack, it will take all of Arly's low-tech resourcefulness to quiet down the good folks of Maggody and pull the plug on a murderer.
