Machete
Not any where as good as his later books, Confusing needless violence, and little in the ways of likable characters.

A novel by a young James Patterson
This is James Patterson s second novel in his long and extraordinary career. Not one of his best for sure, but this can be forgiven considering that it was written a long time ago when nobody had even heard of Patterson before. It is a tale of 2 ruthless killers who are hired to kill and create mayhem in a remote island in the Pacific. There is a bit of confusion in the dates but otherwise it drags along at an even pace without the usual surprises Patterson is so famous of. Nevertheless it is interesting to read an early novel of an author who has become over the years probably the no.1 thriller writer around. Only recommend this one to the Patterson fans like myself.
