Percentage changes from the 1990 census data, including population, average household income, district type, unemployment rate, college education, and ethnicity are also revealed. Statistical profiles give a detailed snapshot of the current geographic, economic, political, and sociological composition of each district. District-by-district data profiles describe residents, including their age, ethnicity, income, education, and occupation. For the first time, one book provides comparison between the socio-economic makeup of each individual legislative district. In addition, nearly 300 full-color computer-generated maps plot the precise geographic boundaries of each state legislative district, including 186 maps for dense urban areas, all based on district political boundaries drawn for the 1990s.
