My adult daughter is, in many ways, preparing to purchase her first home. Along this journey she is collecting articles, photos, etc. of function and decor that she wants to incorporate therein. I chose this book for a 30th birthday gift and she was absolutely delighted. Not only is it a gorgeous book but I really felt that it was ideally specific for the occasion. I intend to purchase another copy for my mother, who is in the process of downsizing her home of 50+ years (and all the associated 'stuff') with the hope that she too will find the possible inspirational.
I'd most strongly recommend this book for (a) anyone who loves beautiful books, (b) anyone who is making or thinking of making a home environment change and (c) anyone who needs a gift for someone who is either an (a) or a (b).
The bookseller was more than reasonably priced and their delivery was faster than expected.
