The saga begins in Dark Age Britain, a land where Arthur has been banished and Merlin has disappeared, where a child-king sits unprotected on the throne, where religion vies with magic for the souls of the people. As Arthur fights to keep a flicker of civilization alive in a barbaric world, Bernard Cornwell makes a familiar tale into a legend all over again. Simultaneous with the St. Martin's Press trade paperback.

I was very excited to read this, I enjoy the myth of King Arthur and was prepared to see a different telling of the story. Blah..... 30 pages into this book, and I find it very hard to follow with Cornwell's writing style. It jumps around characters, and I find it very hard to get into. Oh well. I've gotten to the point in my reading, if I haven't stated to get hooked in the first few pages, it's just not for me. Bummer, I really wanted to like this.

Arthur Triology
Satisfying and consistent quality story throughout the trilogy. I was sad to see it end. Did not want to take up another like it till I digested all of it.
