Classics for Your Collection: goo.gl/U80LCr --------- Love All Even When the World Hates You In the thirteenth chapter of Corinthian I in the Bible, we have a hard-hitting analysis of LOVE and the secret of life and happy living. The author, the Scottish evangelist, Henry Drummond, considers what the Bible too considers, as the greatest thing in the world. Love prevails and lives forever. Outside the Bible, this little devotional book which is a meditation on the Corinthian 13th chapter, is the favorite among many people, providing constant hope, encouragement and mind cleansing. Drummond analyzes Godly love based on the chapter and presents you nine ingredients of love, namely: 1. Patience 2. Kindness 3. Generosity 4. Humility 5. Courtesy 6. Unselfishness 7. Good temper 8. Guilelessness 9. Sincerity In a world which has forgotten this law of LOVE, especially when it comes to the application level, this book asks you to show real love, courtesy, generosity, humility, etc. even in the middle of chaos and the trend of this current world now, and that is the cornerstone message of this book. Some Insights From the Book: 1. And then, after having learned all that, you have to learn this further thing, HUMILITY--to put a seal upon your lips and forget what you have done. After you have been kind, after Love has stolen forth into the world and done its beautiful work, go back into the shade again and say nothing about it. 2. It is better not to live than not to love. 3. What makes a man a good cricketer? Practice. What makes a man a good artist, a good sculptor, a good musician? Practice. What makes a man a good linguist, a good stenographer? Practice. What makes a man a good man? Practice. Nothing else. 4. Eternal life also is to know God, and God is love. This is Christ's own definition. Ponder it. "This is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent." Note: A pure love, excels and exceeds almost all else. Trivia and Facts About the Book: The book has sold over a dozen million copies and continues to help many across the world even to this day. Know many reviews I read said this book was excellent. This portion of scripture 1 Corinthians 13 is wonderful to read anytime but, and this is just my opinion, I have read other commentaries on the same verses and they spoke in more depth than this book. Always worth reading though just in case it speaks to you in a different way!

One of the Greatest Books EVER
Drummond does one of the most incredible jobs of summarizing and then explaining this thing called love. Truly love is more than a feeling and his practical exegesis of 1 Corinthians 13 is one of the finest I have ever read. I have bought over 30 of these and given them out to those who are interested in finding real love. Love immanates from the One who demonstrated love to us through His death on the cross, Jesus Christ for every one of us. God is love. We can love because He first loved us. Read 1 Corinthians 13 and then read this book. Well worth the money you spend. I have not read a better explanation of love anywhere. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

the absolute greatest
This book which has stood the test of time, is awarded the title "a Classic". Start to finish this brief book will flow through your mind like a mountain trout stream. Running to an Ocean of life and hope. A must read for all who are serious about life! Do not buy only one copy. Drummond's masterpiece on the "Agape" chapter of First Corinthians 13 (the one you heard at the wedding) is one you both have to have a copy on your shelve and must give away. Loved by all, who have ever pondered the need for love. The one book I have found myself wanting to read and re-read for over ten years.
