This book was excellent in that it provided the information I was seeking and provided a basis for further study. Few people realize the importance of the city of Detroit in winning the war. The millions of items produced by the automotive companies were instrumental in the victory. Everything from canteen cups to weapons to jeeps to tanks to aircraft were invaluable to our troops and to our allies.
