I've read at least two or three books by Holly Madison. She writes well and presents herself as an intelligent and attractive woman with a penchant toward working in show business, at whatever cost. The cost for her was to be a Playboy girlfriend of Hugh Hefner and live in luxury for a few years before she realized she was going nowhere. This book is an account of her move to Las Vegas and reinventing herself as a burlesque star of a Vegas show. She was successful and seemed to regain her self respect.
