This book by Edgar Rice Burroughs always elicits comments like, "I never knew he wrote a book like that!", even from librarians. It has gained more readers in recent years since its re-publication. It is a lovely, sweet tale of medieval England that has all the elements of a good read: mystery, action, betrayal, death, and romance. It is an easy read, but interesting to the end. If you like medieval England, knights, sword-fighting, damsals in distress, romance and mystery, then you will love this book. I read it many years ago and have reread it many times since. It never loses its appeal.
