When that God died - disintegrating overnight - it seemed equally natural to start preparing its replacement. I bought this from ALIBRIS in order to replace my earlier copy that was unfortunately loaned to a friend who did not return it.
All Sheri Tepper's books are wonderful and this one is no exception! It is one of her more intense novels with a very misogynist plot. But I think it raises important questions about who and what a father is meant to be.
I find that reading Tepper's books has influenced my worldview and recommend them to anyone.
