On the Road with Buddha
Our hero takes a long car trip with his sister's guru, a gentle soul providing both gentle and often-unintentional humor. The story is mostly believable, and kept my interest all the way through. I would say that at least a little familiarity with Buddhist thinking is probably helpful as background. Also, I wondered if this book would be entertaining to non-Boomers - not sure. At any rate, I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone open to Eastern thinking.
