a very simple book about animals going to bed. For those who have difficulty getting little ones to bed this book may assist with making the idea fun.

who enjoyed it more......
....my grandson or me? As always, Sandra Boynton silly poetry & drawings are absolutely perfect for all ages & hit it right on the head for problem sleepers, or as a bedtime story. It is enjoyable, silly, cute, adorable & ageless!! My grandson laughs & wants it read over & over....and it is one book I do not mind reading to him again.

Great Buy!
This is our daughter's favorite bed time book! It's short enough that it keeps her attention. The graphics and sing-song story are great! We definitely recommend this one.

We Read It Every Night
The Going to Bed Book is the best bedtime read we have found. We have several Boynton board books and many of them are sillier but sometimes suffer from awkward pacing. Here, the rhythm and rhymes are perfect for soothingly slow reading. You've got a few pages of animals getting ready for bed, an absurd climax, and then a couple more pages of drifting off to sleep. We read it every night and it cues our daughter to start nodding her head. Best thing: We've got it memorized and we aren't sick of it!
