Written over fifty years ago but still one of the best. Combines 'swords and sorcery' magic with modern engineering knowledge. Based on the medieval legend of Holger of Denmark, one of King Arthur's champions. My brother once read this book to his 12-year-old son and is now sharing it with his grandchildren.
