this book in my opinion is no better then ok when compared to his other greater works . I feel the book doesn't flow as well as the other novels i have read by him , and the characters dont invoke the same love ,or hate he has managed to make me feel in other books. Also the use of synomyns at the beginning of the book becomes irritating ,and i feel the loss of 1000 s ofwords would still have left a good story. Overall a good idea ,but unsatisfactory ending , and flowerey and frankly ameateur writing spoil a good idea.

Koontz scores again.
If you like Dean Koontz's style of writing (which I do) this is another existentialsit adventure for those who choose to notice that aspect of it. For those who just want escapism and thriller chills, you'll enjoy it too.
