Amanda Quick knows what it takes to write a good story. This was a very fast-paced, very good story in the true historical fashion. It has everything - blackmail, murder, and a good detective to solve the crimes.
The hero and heroine were very likeable and funny, and the cast of backup characters was entertaining, too.
