This book is an attempt to share them with an all too quickly dwindling alumni and their families and friends of Lincoln Institute. I include incidents, some joyous and some mournful. Some serious and some just down-right silly. The beginning and ending of brief courtships and more importantly, the establishment of a lifelong bond with very special people. From the First Family all the way down to those who maintained the grounds will be remembered in this undertaking. The mal-equipped athletic department who would win championship competitions in spite of public opinion. It's called the "Lincoln Spirit." That spirit manifested itself on "The Hill."
